Service Technician

Land Rover Livermore is now hiring an Experienced Technician, located in the beautiful city of Livermore, CA. We are looking for motivated, energetic, and forward-thinking professional service techs to add to our world-class team. Looking for Automotive Technicians with High Line level experience preferred- including but not limited to Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, etc! An excellent Technician must have the required skills to work on complex cars. They are well-versed in the mechanical or electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

What we want from you is the ability to:

Perform maintenance or repair work specified on a repair order
Perform quality multipoint inspections to identify needed repairs
Provide time and labor estimates for needed repairs
General repair on most makes and models, brake pads and shoes, tires, alignments, steering and suspension, cooling systems, a/c, wheel bearings, and drive train
Test and inspect vehicles after performed repairs
Communicate directly with service advisors if any additional services are needed
Maintain a clean and organized working environment
Adhere to all company policy and procedures
Must be able to use a computer to find and utilize technical data and service bulletins for various repairs
What we need from you:

One year minimum of luxury automotive technician experience
Proven experience in Land Rover brand Highly Preferred
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles both foreign imports and domestic luxury brands.
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
Excellent physical condition
High school diploma is preferred
Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
